PANEL OF FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS TO HEADLINE WOMEN IN BUSINESS
Three Franklin-Based Owners Share Successful Business Practices
FRANKLIN, Tenn.—Williamson, Inc. members will hear from an all-female panel of entrepreneurs at the Aug. 25 Women in Business Luncheon, presented by Williamson Medical Center. Members and guests will learn successful business practices that can keep their business growing for years to come.
The panelists are: Jill Cole, owner of Southern Events Party Rental Company, Kelly Gilfillan, CEO and executive editor of Home Page Media Group, and Amy Tanksley, owner of Uncle Classic Barbershop.
Cole has seven years of event planning experience and began her career at Willis Conference Center in Nashville, serving as the assistant director before leaving in early 2007 to start Southern Events Party Rental Company.
As CEO and executive editor of Home Page Media Group, Gilfillan and her team publishes four daily online news sites providing news to Brentwood, Franklin, Nolensville and Spring Hill.
Tanksley, an Omaha, Nebraska native, has always had a passion for the health and beauty industry. Originally Amy’s husband’s idea, Uncle Classic Barbershop provides the men with a better, modern men’s grooming option. Uncle Classic Barbershop opened its first location in Brentwood, TN in October, 2008 and currently has locations in Belle Meade, Cool Springs and Hillsboro Village.
Questions for the panel will focus on the early startup years of running a business and the keys to staying relevant to keep their companies growing.
