VEX Robotics Tennessee State Championship
The Vex Robotics State Championship (winners receive and invitation to the world championship in April) will be held at the McGavock High School Large Gym on Saturday, February 27th from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Xenex Robotics will attend the event and demonstrate for students the real-world application of robot programming with its Xenex germ zapping robot. It is designed to kill the most problematic pathogens that cause hospital acquired infections, like MRSA, C-Diff, VRE and SSI’s. It has also shown success with pathogens like Anthrax and Ebola. Leading hospitals like Mayo Clinic, MD Anderson, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Stanford, to name a few use this technology. With Medicare now penalizing hospitals for poor infection rates, this technology is rapidly becoming a key for many hospitals. Contact John Elzinga at (615) 430-0462 for more information.
