Anna Lisa Roberts joined the economic development team in January of 2020, serving as Economic Development Manager. Her primary focus is business retention, where she works to connect existing businesses with the resources they need, as well as helping to eliminate barriers of growth. She also assists the Director of Talent with key k-12 workforce development initiatives.
Anna Lisa began her career as an educator, leaving the classroom to work for the U.S. House of Representatives as a liaison between the federal government and state and local leaders and their constituents. Her work with federal, state, and local economic development agencies quickly became her favorite duties, and she developed a desire to be a part of creating prosperity and elevating communities and families.
Anna Lisa, a native Mississippian, holds degrees from the University of Mississippi and Mississippi State University. She resides in Williamson County with her husband, Taylor, and their daughter, Grace.
