Williamson, Davidson boast state’s lowest unemployment rates

According to the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, unemployment rates dropped in 82 Tennessee counties in January 2016.

The report, which was released on Thursday, showed Davidson County had the state’s lowest rate for a major metropolitan area and the second-lowest overall, at 3.6 percent.

Williamson County boasted the lowest unemployment at 3.2 percent for the month.
