Touching Hearts at Home in Brentwood hosted a ribbon cutting on Wednesday in partnership with Williamson, Inc.
Touching Hearts provides non-medical caregiving services to “provide a helping hand” to those in the Middle Tennessee area. They currently have 45 caregivers on staff.
Some of the services Touching Hearts provides include meal preparation, personal care and light housekeeping, among others.
“A lot of seniors get to the point where they don’t have a family member or their family member is too busy to really assist them,” owner Bryan Johnson said. “We’re trying to take an approach to home care of making it really personal.”
Touching Hearts at Home owners Haley and Bryan Johnson both came from careers that revolved around helping others. They wanted to continue doing that through their business.
Haley Johnson was the former president of Kaplan College, now Brightwood College, and Bryan Johnson worked for Johnson & Johnson in orthopedic sales.
The couple currently lives in Brentwood and both grew up in Tennessee.
“I’ve always had a passion for helping people, and I’ve taken an interest in doing that,” Bryan Johnson said. “[Haley] always had a passion in helping people, as well. Coupled together, we just feel that we are at the right place at the right time to help people.”
