Williamson County restaurants served their top samples at Taste of Williamson Sunday.

The annual food tasting event raises funds for United Way of Williamson County and its partner agencies.

“We’ve had tremendous response from the restaurants this year” said Cheryl Stewart, marketing director for the county chapter of United Way.

This year’s event featured 45 vendors at the CoolSprings Galleria.

“That’s the most we’ve had for this event,” Stewart said. “It’s gratifying. We are thrilled.”

Proceeds will help fund 48 programs to help those in need in the county.
