Pilkerton Realty Celebrates Opening of Franklin Office

Pilkerton Realty on Tuesday celebrated the grand opening of its first Franklin office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by a large contingent of real estate brokers as well as chamber members.

Managing broker Matt Ligon noted the large turnout and was quick to praise everyone who came out in support of the company.

“I appreciate all the agents who are here as well as the chamber and Rotarians,” Ligon said. “We could not have done this without our staff, who has worked hard to open this office.”

Nancy Conway of Williamson Inc. noted that Pilkerton is celebrating its 50th year in business.

“This is their fourth location and first in Franklin. We welcome them,” Conway said. “I have known Matt Ligon a long time and I’m excited to see his success.

Since Pilkerton launched the Franklin office in February, the company has grown from 14 agents to 21.

“We were confident that the Franklin market was ripe for a new, dynamic, independent real estate firm,” Ligon said in a release last week. “The response has been fantastic by both clients in the market and from agents.”

The office is quickly becoming one of the largest independent firms in Franklin. Agents Terry Armstrong, Suzanne Bryan, Margaret Frazier, Terry Montgomery, Gina Page, Emily Paisley and Connie Zagerman have recently join the team.

“We are excited about this opportunity,” said Ligon. “Joining the Pilkerton family has been fabulous. We look forward to servicing the community for many years.”

Based in Brentwood, Pilkerton also has two offices in Nashville. In March, the company announced the formation of a relocation division after being selected to join the prestigious Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.

Pilkerton Realtors was founded in 1969 by J. Fred Pilkerton. For information, visit www.pilkerton.com.
