Business, community and government leaders will have a chance to learn why Williamson County remains such an attractive destination for businesses and residents at Williamson, Inc.’s Outlook Williamson.

The half-day economic summit, presented by Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Cooperation, takes place Wednesday, April 24, 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at The Factory at Franklin’s Liberty Hall, located at 230 Franklin Road

The event will consist of three 45-minute sessions with industry-leading experts and developers, providing an in-depth picture of how Williamson County’s economy compares nationally and regionally based on the latest growth projections and statistical data. There will also be entertainment provided by Studio Tenn.

“This year’s Outlook Williamson summit is designed to give an in-depth understanding of where Williamson County is as an economy and community, why it remains such a desirable business location and a look forward at some of the county’s most significant new developments,” said Williamson, Inc. President and CEO Matt Largen.

Kicking off the morning session on Opportunities with Growth will be keynote speaker Douglas E. Kreulen, A.A.E. President and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority.

The second session, Why Williamson? will feature Jam Stewart, Vice President for Corporate Affairs from Mars Petcare, who was integral in the company’s decision process to expand and build a new headquarters in Williamson County. Following Jam’s presentation, she and Matt Largen will host a Q&A session.

Williamson County Developers will take part in the final session, What’s Next? Williamson, Inc.’s Chief Economic Development Officer, Elizabeth McCreary, will moderate a panel discussion featuring Thomas McDaniel with Boyle Investment, Glenn McGehee from Southstar, and Dirk Melton with MarketStreet Enterprises. The panel will focus on the future of the built landscape in Williamson County, including exciting developments and redevelopments.

Williamson, Inc. will be releasing their online Market-Research findings, a new and improved version of the award-winning Williamson County Trends Report. Market Research is a statistical summary that examines the latest business climate data, demographics, and emerging growth trends projected for the county over the next 10 and 20 years.

Back for another year will be the Renderings Gallery for guests to walk through and view various Class A commercial real estate development projects either currently under construction or expected to come online in the next several years.
