Strategic Health Solutions announced today it will open in March a Nashville-area office and is looking to fill 35 positions.
The Omaha, Nebraska-based national contractor, which does work for federal government entities such as the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Justice, did not disclose in a release the cost to get the new office operational or the person who will oversee it.
The company (also called Strategic and stylized as StrategicHealthSolutions) is currently operating from an interim space until the new office, to be located within the same building at 341 Cool Springs Blvd. in Franklin, is completed. It also has a presence in Columbia, Maryland
By the end of the year, Strategic plans to employ approximately 50 people in the Nashville-area office, with additional growth expected in 2017.
Available positions include medial review nurses, project supervisors, division managers, coders, a senior human resource generalist and an information technology support specialist.
“We are thrilled to open a new location in the Nashville area,” Peg Stessman, who founded Strategic in 1997, said in the release. “Having a dedicated team working here every day to help sustain one of our most precious national resources — our health care system — is invaluable to future generations of Americans.”
Strategic has about 250 employees and bills itself as a government contractor that “works to ensure the sustainability of America’s health care systems by preventing the misuse of funds and recouping misspent dollars.”
Inc. magazine recently included the company in its Impact 50 list, which recognizes fast growing women-led companies.
