Crescent Lockwood Glen will offer 239 apartments with attached garages

Crescent Communities and Pearl Street Partners are eyeing a January groundbreaking for the next phase of their Franklin-based master-planned community Lockwood Glen.

According to a release, Crescent Lockwood Glen will offer 239 residential units available in one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment floor plans with one- and two-car attached garages. The cost to undertake the project will be about $50 million.

Crescent Lockwood Glen will be built on the southern end of the 624-unit Lockwood Glen. Lockwood Glen and sister property Echelon at Lockwood Glen are located on the recently opened extension of Carothers Parkway that runs parallel to Interstate 65 (see here courtesy of Google Maps).

The apartments will “mirror the architectural design of the surrounding single-family homes and feature upscale interior design elements,” according to the release.

Amenities planned for Crescent Lockwood Glen include a saltwater pool with surrounding decking, grills and outdoor dining areas, fire pits, private gardens, a central park, playgrounds and dog park.

Future plans call for 30,000 to 50,000 square feet of retail on an adjoining standalone parcel.

Khris Pascarella, principal of Brentwood-based Pearl Street Partners said Crescent Lockwood Glen will offer “the quintessential, apartment experience for residents.”

“It will also provide future residents of Lockwood Glen and Echelon at Lockwood Glen the opportunity to become [as renters] members of the community while their new home is under construction,” he said.

Based in Charlotte, Crescent has a Nashville-area presence. The company is finalizing the construction of its Crescent Music Row apartment building and recently began a residential building in the new Bellevue Center.
