The Heritage at Brentwood hosted a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, highlighting 97 additional apartments, called Redbud, that have been added to its community.

Williamson, Inc. staff and chamber ambassadors and local Brentwood city commissioners welcomed the senior living community at the end of Heritage Way.

The Heritage at Brentwood has been a project that has seen expansions over the past 20 years, Executive Director Jon Tagatz explained. Tagatz has served in his role at The Heritage at Brentwood for 13 years.

“Our Redbud expansion is our new  three-story apartment building,” he said. “It will bring our overall capacity of 314 homes.”

Williamson, Inc. President and CEO Matt Largen spoke to the importance of having a senior living community like The Heritage at Brentwood in Williamson County.

“This is a community,” he said. “This is a community that gives people a chance, whether they’re new or spent their entire life in Brentwood, to stay in Brentwood long-term. That’s why this place is so special to Williamson County and so special to the residents. We’re thrilled that it’s an option.”
