NASHVILLE, TN — The unemployment rate in Williamson County was 3.5 percent in February, down 0.4 percent from the January figure, according to the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development. In the last year, the Williamson County jobless number has increased 0.4 percent.

The estimated city-level figure for Franklin is 3.3 percent, the lowest among the state’s cities of at least 25,000 people. In neighboring Brentwood, it is 3.6 percent.

The state rate, reported last week, is 5.3 percent, down 0.1 percent from January.
