Community Housing Partnership of Williamson County announces final approval for The Village at West Main Street

Community Housing Partnership of Williamson County (CHP) is proud to announce the final approvals from the City of Franklin on the site plan and design plans of The Village at West Main Street in Franklin Tennessee. This development of 30 brand new one-bedroom condominium units located at 1319 West Main Street in Franklin wil be breaking ground in September of 2016 and to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2017. Jim Franks and his team of experts from Old South Construction will be the Contractor. The units are much anticipated as they will be affordable for working class individuals in Franklin.

The three story building will have adequate parking at 1.5 spaces per unit and will have an elevator for easy access to the second and third floors as well as some common areas on the site that will offer green space for the residents. Located  across from the Williamson County Administrative Complex there are restaurants within walking distance and the project is within a short distance to downtown Franklin and all the amenities that are available there from the Franklin Theatre to the coffee shops and restaurants. Grocery shopping is also within a short distance either on Columbia Avenue or Hillsoboro Road in Franklin. There are many conveniences offered to the residents by this location.

All of the units in The Village at West Main Street will be one bedroom with large closet capacity. Additionally, there will be a moderate bathroom and a washer/dryer closet. The full kitchen will include the range/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave/stove vent over the range. The moderate living room would complete the unit. The quality of the construction by Old South Construction will be superior. Buyers will have the ability to choose their counter-tops, cabinets, appliance, paint colors and flooring with allowances provided by Old South Construction.

 

Four different types of units will be available:

  • Twenty-one units will be the basic condominium homes and are located on all three floors of the building, generally in the interior and off the corners. These units will offer 518-524 square feet of well-organized and functional living space and are priced at $152,950.
  • Four units will be at 524-535 square feet. These units are located on some of the corners of the building on all three levels and have a slightly larger bathroom/laundry area. These units will be offered at $157,950.
  • Two units will be at 526-541 square feet and include a 94 square foot porch or patio. Additionally, all of these units are corner units. These units are priced at $161,950.
  • Three units will be at the 523-534 square feet and include a 160 square foot patio or porch. Additionally, all of these units are corner units. These units are priced at $166,950.

ADA Units will be available within the regular units and carry no more expense.

 

A United Way of Williamson County Agency

Community Housing Parnership of Williamson County is now prepared for the presale of any of these units. With construction scheduled they can now enter into Purchase Agreements. These units are for home ownership only, no investors will be allowed to purchase the units for rental purposes. A home Owner’s Association (HOA) will be established out of the owners of the units.
