Please join me for an important community conversation on homelessness in Williamson Countyon Monday, February 25 at 6 PM at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in downtown Franklin, 510 West Main St, Franklin, TN.
I believe the business community can play a constructive role in addressing this issue for our community. I know Williamson County is at its best when we take care of those in need, and I know Williamson, Inc. members care about helping everyone in our community. There has been some great reporting on this over the last few years from the Williamson Herald, Franklin Home Page, and The Tennessean that helps illuminate the issue:
- Homeless face limited resources in Williamson County – Williamson Herald
- Yes, there is homelessness in Williamson County – Franklin Home Page
- Would a full-time homeless shelter in Franklin help address homelessness in Williamson County? – The Tennessean
The meeting on Monday, February 25 will focus on the need for a permanent shelter in Williamson County and will touch on some of the more long-term plans to help the homeless in our community transition to employment.
Please join me at this important meeting next week. Thank you, and thank you for your investment in Williamson County through your continued investment in Williamson, Inc.
