Dr. Ken Moore, Franklin mayor and Columbia State board and Foundation board member, was recently honored as the recipient of the 2016 Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Philanthropy.
Recognized for his continued and loyal support of Columbia State Community College and the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR), David Gregory, chancellor of the TBR, presented the award to Moore at the Grand Opening of Columbia State’s new Williamson Campus.

Prior to becoming the 31st Mayor for the City of Franklin, Moore practiced orthopedic surgery in Columbia for 28 years. In addition, Moore has served as a member and president of several organizations, which include the Tennessee Orthopedic Society, the Tennessee Hand Society and the Clinical Orthopedic Society.
