Atlanta-based developer Core Property Capital has a contract to buy a 30-acre Cool Springs property on which a large-scale mixed-use project is being eyed, Nashville Business Journal reports.

The property, owned by SouthStar LLC is located at Exit 67 of Interstate 65 and is zoned to accommodate buildings of up to 12 stories.

The site had been marketed for what was to have been called “Franklin Summit.” (Click on the above image to see a rendering). It is one of the few large-scale undeveloped parcels in Cool Springs, NBJ reports.

CPC is using has Nashville-based land planning and engineering firm Ragan-Smith Associates Inc. to handle site work.
