How did Taziki’s become a staple in our community? Learn more about how they expanded in Williamson County and how they truly believe in a cohesive and inclusive work environment!

What is Taziki’s? When did they arrive in Franklin, TN and why?

Taziki’s is a Mediterranean concept that specializes in fast casual dining. We arrived to the Williamson County area in 2011 with a mindset focused on growth. We came here because we had a foundation with Fresh Hospitality, and its headquarters is in Nashville. We had a plan from the start to put 12 Taziki’s locations in Middle TN. We are still working toward that goal.

Tell us about the events that led up to where your organization is now.

We began with 3 core locations – Cool Springs, Green Hills, and West End. We saw opportunity to grow and become a cornerstone for families in suburban areas of Middle TN. Our concept allows us to create a meaningful connection by community involvement and belief in philanthropy.

What is unique about your organization (what sets you apart from the rest)?

Our grounding is founded in philanthropic giving and being a true and pure brand in all aspects. Our culture with all employees and customers invests in the lives of everyone who walks through our doors. We see everyone as a guest at our table. We have also taken time to give back to people that have given us the ability to grow. The Hope project is big in our world. We  employ special needs adults because we believe in investing in someone else’s life that might not have the ability to experience our industry from an employee perspective.

Tell us more about your inclusive work environment and programs?

We truly believe that this is a place of open employment. We find strengths in everyone and having an eclectic culture embodies those of many talents. Those talents are utilized in our 5 core values: Details, Collaboration, Challenge, Fresh, and Connection.

How has being a part of the overall business community in Williamson County helped you? In what ways do you support the community?

Being involved  has been beneficial because people truly believe in being ingrained in where they work and live. We feel that when we are supported by a business we are supported by each person involved in that organization. We support through ventures with nonprofits and special needs employees. We also embrace a healthy lifestyle that benefit all who dine with us.

Why did you choose to become a member of Williamson, Inc.?

We have always seen the benefit of being involved in Williamson, Inc. To us, involvement truly means embracing all aspects they offer. Through the chamber, relationships have been expanded through multiple interactions. One thing we have learned within our industry is that it takes 13 interactions to buy into our concept. The chamber was able to afford us the ability to interact with multiple guests in  short periods of time and let them learn about our brand in a reputable place.

Given your expertise and the nature of what you do, what advice (general or specific) can you offer to the readers?

It’s about far more than serving food. You have to do something for the greater good of each guest. People connect with you on a sentimental level, and when people find personal connection with your brand, you will be a place of comfort for them and the meal will become more than a just fulfilling award to someone who is hungry. Meaningful connection will thrive. People embrace meals with the ones they love.

Where can readers find you and how can they get involved with the Taziki’s brand?

You can find us on, in which each store has its own landing page. You can see more specifics about each location there. You can also always collaborate with either of our two charities in Williamson County – Gigi’s Playhouse or Bridges Domestica Violence Center. They are always looking for volunteers in adult program to enrich the lives of those in our community.
