What is your organization and how/why did you start your organization?
Making a positive difference in the financial experience of our clients is why Price CPAs exists. The firm was started in 1953 with that purpose in mind, and it hasn’t ever changed – but our experience and training certainly has. Andrew Price founded the firm with just 1 other employee. We now have a team of nearly 30, including 7 on our senior leadership team.
Who should take advantage of your services? Why?
Price CPAs serves individuals, families and businesses. For businesses, we have deep experience in healthcare, construction, distribution, manufacturing, and automobile dealerships with annual revenue in the range of $5 – $100 million. Family office and individual services for planning and tax are also a significant part of our expertise, as well as forensic and valuation services.
Tell us about the events that led up to where your organization is now.
Price CPAs started with a primary focus on accounting, audit and tax service for businesses and individuals. Over the years our expertise and experience has expanded to include financial analysis, business valuation, forensic review and litigation support on the business side, and family office services, financial, estate and succession planning on the personal side.
What is unique about your organization (what sets you apart from the rest)?
Relationships matter to Price CPAs. They always have. Professional expertise, education and experience are all critically important, but being proactive in relationships and conversations with clients is what sets us apart. When we become aware of something like a tax change, new law or regulation that could impact their tax or financial position, we let them know quickly and provide advice on how to address it to protect or enhance their position.
Price CPAs has been in business for more than 65 years, what do you credit your success to?
Looking for ways to use our knowledge and experience to improve the financial experience of our clients and sharing those insights with them builds value, appreciation and trust. It also gives them confidence to refer their friends and colleagues to us. A great deal of our business is based on referrals from companies or individuals we have served for years, or even from ones we have started serving more recently. They tell us that they appreciate our professionalism and initiative.
How has being a part of the overall business community in Williamson County helped you?
The business community in Williamson County is vibrant and growing. It is invigorating to be a part of the progress and growth of the community and work with clients who are part of that economic and community vibrancy.

Given your expertise and the nature of what you do, what advice (general or specific) can you offer to the readers?
Many individuals and business leaders have questions about their financial position, but often resist or delay asking for help. The best advice we can give is to ask. Call us or schedule an appointment. Get the information you need to remove any fear or concern. That could be for anything from resolving a difficult tax situation to helping make decisions on purchase or sale of a business, or the exploration of a new growth opportunity.
