This week we sat down with Ryan Humphrey, owner of The Post Chiropractic. Ryan offers on site chiropractic service to you and your business.
How has being a part of the overall business community in Williamson County helped you?
Williamson County is a special place to do business. I am humbled by our community in which everyone is open and joyfully willing to extend a helping hand to each other. As a new business concept I have been welcomed with open arms. People here are genuinely interested in your success and putting you in contact with anyone they feel can help you. I am grateful to be a part of this community.
Why did you choose to become a member of Williamson, Inc.? How has your membership benefited you?
I chose to be a member of Williamson, Inc. to get connected in my business community. I have met so many awesome people and the faces behind our local businesses. When you get plugged in you become an active part of your community instead of watching from the outside.
Tell us a little about yourself. (Where did you grow up? How long have you lived in the area?
I grew up in Plant City, Fl (a small farming town just outside of Tampa known for our strawberries). I was an avid athlete and completed my baseball career at the University of Tampa before pursuing my Doctorate in Chiropractic. My wife and I moved here from Florida in 2017, further pursuing her career as a chef and TV personality. We immediately fell in love with the area and have planted our roots
How and why did you first get started with your company? Tell us a little about them.
I started The Post Chiropractic in an effort to make chiropractic care convenient. Time has never been at more of a shortage than it is now in our society. I noticed everything else was answering that shortage by delivering products/services to your door. So I thought why not deliver full service chiropractic care right to your
door without losing the complexity of a full office. I co-designed the first ever complete chiropractic office housed inside a Mercedes Sprinter Van and launched it in the Fall of 2
019. The office was designed to offer everything you can do in a typical brick and mortar office without ever having to leave your home or office.
Who should take advantage of your services?
EVERYONE! But in all seriousness there have been 3 demographics that account for my largest customer base.
Business offices- think food truck meets corporate wellness. Several companies in the area use my services as a big part of their wellness plan. Research has shown major savings to companies by using chiropractic as a big part of their corporate wellness initiatives.
- Moms- as a parent myself, I understand the struggle of loading up the kids and lugging them around to appointments or errands. Everything takes twice as long when kids are involved. Now getting the care you need doesn’t require the hassle of wrangling the kids.
- Work-From-Home- now more than ever people are working from home. But home offices are most often after thoughts when it comes to ergonomics. This has led to a significant increase in postural injuries.
