Job Shadow Day
Wednesday, April 19, 2017
Williamson County Schools is excited to assist students in finding Job Shadow placements on April 19, 2017 Job Shadow Day with our community partners. We believe this is an excellent way to showcase careers we have available in our community, and to give our students an opportunity to interact with potential employers. This program also gives students the chance to spend time on the job with the employer while getting a taste of real-life, hands-on experience in their fields of interest.
WCS Seniors will sign-up for the specific company/placement of their choice upon availability. Once the placements are filled, students will receive an email confirmation with details of their Job Shadow placement.
Students must dress professional and are responsible for their own transportation.
Job Shadow Day is one of several ways that Williamson, Inc. partners with Williamson County Schools as part of the Chamber’s six-point strategic plan to building a prosperous, growing county. Education is a key driving force in our local economy; therefore; Williamson, Inc. fosters ways in which the business community can strengthen their relations with the public schools and next generation leaders.
