Mask Requirement in Williamson County

Mask Requirement in Williamson County Effective Through 2/27/2021

Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson issued an executive order on 7/6/2020, signed and supported by the mayors of all six Williamson County municipalities, requiring citizens to wear masks or face coverings when in public places. Mayor Anderson recognizes there are varying opinions on this issue, but believes that asking members of the community to wear a face covering in indoor public places, and in outdoor public places where distancing is not possible, is a necessary safety measure to ensure our local businesses may remain open and our schools may reconvene in the fall. Allowing the current spike in cases to continue jeopardizes our businesses, government and court operations, schools, and way of life.
