BBB hosts protect your identity day

Better Business Bureau Hosts Identity Theft and Fraud Protection Event

Franklin, TN, – On Saturday, April 16, 2016 the Better Business Bureau will
host a national identity theft and fraud protection event in local communities
across North America. Secure Your ID Day will be held at Lowe’s in Cool
Springs at 3060 Mallory Lane.

A shred truck from sponsor Iron Mountain will be parked in front of Lowe’s
from 9 AM to noon, or until the truck is full. Businesses and individuals are
welcome to participate and are encouraged to bring outdated, high risk
documents including cancelled checks, old credit card statements, free credit
card offers and tax records. This shredding event is FREE and documents
will be shredded on the spot.

The Better Business Bureau, Tennessee Highway Patrol Identity Theft Unit
and volunteers will also be distributing great tips and resources to help you
secure your identity online and off.
