Ogletree Deakins Breakfast Briefing

The Nashville office of Ogletree Deakins presents a complimentary employment law briefing. The event will be Wednesday, April 5 from 8:30 – 10:45 a.m. located at the Embassy Suites Cool Springs location  820 Crescent Centre Drive in Franklin.

This briefing will be a panel led discussion by Luther Wright, Jr. and Jennifer S. Rusie. Racially charged incidents and discussions impact our workplaces—often with negative results. This presentation addresses those issues and explains why racial discussions are frequently ineffective and often problematic. The speakers will also review the five most common barriers to healthy communication as well as tips and strategies that individuals and organizations can employ to break down those barriers.

The other panel discussion will focus on what the Trump administration means for employers. This panel will be moderated by Keith D. Frazier and the panelists include C. Thomas Davis, John G. Harrison, and Timothy A. Palmer. The session is going to be HUGE! The 45th president has been sworn in, a new administration has begun its work, and much has already happened on the labor and employment law front—with many more changes still to come. This panel will fill you in on recent developments and discuss what the current administration is likely to mean for employers in several key areas.
