Mitsubishi Motors free defensive driver training for teens & parents November 9 & 10
Do you have a new driver in your household or know someone who does? Join us for the Mitsubishi Road Safety Rally, a free advanced driver training for teens and parents at The Fairgrounds Nashville, Nov. 9 and 10.
Four-hour sessions include more than three hours behind the wheel with professional driving instructors. Topics include Distracted Driving Awareness, Panic Braking, Crash Avoidance, Dropped-wheel/Off-road recovery and Car Control/Skid Recovery.
Unlike Driver’s Education, which covers basic knowledge required to earn a license, this program teaches teens and their parents how to deal with common on-road emergencies.
Who:
- Teens 15-19 with a valid driver’s license or learner’s permit and at least 30 hours driving experience.
- All teens MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian – and, yes, parents will be active participants in the training!
When:
Choose one of four sessions –
- Saturday, November 9, 8 a.m. – noon OR 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
- Sunday, November 10, 8 a.m. – noon OR 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Details:
The program is free of charge but does require a $99 refundable deposit to reserve one of 24 spaces per session. Pre-registration is required for participation. For more information and to register, visit www.MitsubishiRoadSafetyRally.com.
