The Retreat at Norman Farm brings new homes to Hendersonville from the $330s
The Jones Company, a Nashville-based homebuilder, has announced a new Sumner County community, The Retreat at Norman Farm. The neighborhood contains 240 home sites and The Jones Company will be building their Inspiration Collection homes within the development.
The Retreat at Norman Farm is a unique addition to The Jones Company, as it boasts natural elements that stem from the land first owned by the Norman family of Hendersonville. Originally, the land held a pumpkin patch and local farmers market. In the next year, the land will be transformed into a gathering place with open space, walking trails and amenities for homeowners and community members. The Retreat at Norman Farm also contains a lake that will allow kayaking and paddle boarding. The natural lake is the perfect spot for fishing and will have multiple fishing piers. Norman Lake, which is onsite, has in recent years been stocked with fish by the TWRA, and it has most recently been the site of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee’s yearly fishing event.
“We are very pleased to bring The Jones Company homes back to Sumner County,” said Ken Stricker, CEO of The Jones Company. “The Retreat at Norman Farm will be the first community of its kind. We are working closely with the city of Hendersonville to preserve the vast property of the Norman family and create an outdoor family atmosphere.”
The Retreat at Norman Farm is located in Hendersonville and is zoned for Dr. William Burrus Elementary at Drakes Creek, Merrol Hyde Magnet School and Station Camp High School. Home sales are slated to begin in October or November and building is slated to begin in January. About The Jones Company
The Jones Company, a Nashville home builder, is celebrating 93 years of building homes and communities in 2020. The Jones Company was founded by John E. Jones of St. Louis in 1927. The three-generation family-owned and operated company offers a variety of home collections in all price ranges to meet diverse lifestyle needs. Known in the homebuilding industry as “the value leader,” the company’s in-house architectural department strives to find new ways to provide the best value to buyers. It is for this reason that many customers purchase two, three and even four Jones homes throughout their lifetime. In demonstrating this mission, every Jones home is backed by a one-year warranty on workmanship and materials and a 10-year guarantee on major structural components. The company is proud to have a history of community involvement, including a decade of projects with Habitat for Humanity, and most recently holding their yearly employee fundraiser for Youth Encouragement Services.
