Bluegrass Along the Harpeth Festival Returns to Historic Franklin

The annual Bluegrass Along the Harpeth Festival will be held Friday, July 26th and Saturday, July 27th in Franklin’s town square. Guests can enjoy art, food and a bluegrass music contest in addition to live music by Crosswind and Deanie Richardson.

Since its founding in 1990, the festival has grown to be a Franklin staple that brings visitors to the quaint Tennessee city. Many individuals flock to the event sharing a love for the music and the history that it represents. Over the years, the Bluegrass Along the Harpeth Fest has stayed true to its mission of preserving old time music and dance by bringing many unique and classic experiences to festival goers. This year, the festival will honor Franklin’s own Grand Ole Opry stars Sam and Kirk McGee.

This FREE event will be fun for the whole family. All proceeds will benefit the Williamson County Cultural Arts Commission.
