Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon, Inc. Rebrands to Barge Design Solutions

Firm’s new name is a reflection of renewed focus

After 62 years of shaping communities through its engineering and architectural projects, Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon, Inc., has re-branded as Barge Design Solutions.

This new name elevates the firm’s focus of designing solutions for communities across its geographic footprint and around the world. As part of a comprehensive re-branding, the name change will be accompanied by a new website, launching in January 2018, new logo and updated signage for each office. The employee-owned firm has more than 370 employees located in 14 offices across five states.

Accompanying the re-brand, the firm’s corporate headquarters has relocated to a new building at 615 3rd Avenue South, in the growing SoBro neighborhood of Nashville, Tennessee.

Barge Design Solutions focuses on improving the quality of life in the communities and industries they serve. The firm includes engineers, architects, landscape architects, planners and surveyors in the offices in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio and Texas. The company is ranked Number 199 on Engineering News-Record’s Top 500 Design Firms list.
