Youth Leadership Brentwood, a program to provide students from Brentwood area schools a hands-on exploration of many different aspects of Brentwood and the surrounding communities, while enhancing their leadership skills, is accepting applications through October 9 for the Class of 2021. High school sophomores and juniors are eligible to apply if they either live or attend school within the city limits of Brentwood.

The presenting sponsor for this year’s Class of 2021 is Brentwood Academy. Supporting sponsors include the Brentwood Rotary Foundation, the Leadership Brentwood Alumni Association and parents of former graduates of the program.

The program, now in its twenty-fourth year, accepts 24 student leaders each year.  Participants are selected for the five-month program based on their demonstrated leadership abilities and commitment to the Brentwood community.

Program days are devoted to various topics, such as business, history, government, technology in the future and quality of life.
