Memphis-based A2H, Inc. (A2H), a collaborative planning and design firm, expanded its presence to Middle Tennessee with the opening of a Nashville-area office earlier this summer.

“We are excited that this move allows our firm enhanced design capabilities, alongside increased responsiveness and support for current and potential clients in Middle Tennessee,” said A2H President Logan Meeks.

The new office, located in Franklin, is led by Senior Associate Principal and Architect Rick McAllister, who previously served as founder and principal of Brentwood-based architecture firm M2 Design Services.

M2 and its design staff merged with A2H earlier this year. “The merger enables A2H to further scale its architectural practice — specifically in Healthcare, Higher Education, and Commercial Development,” said A2H Senior Architect and Principal Stewart Smith. “Our collaborative design practice is going to benefit greatly from both the depth and diversity of experience Rick and the rest of the Nashville team bring to A2H.”

The new office will accommodate A2H’s growing team and allow for an increase in collaboration among employees. In addition to retaining former M2 designers McAllister and Shane Brewer, the firm has already expanded the Nashville team with the addition of Stacie Berry, a Nashville-based Interior Designer with specialized expertise in corporate and commercial interiors.
