Young Leaders Council announces Williamson County class 2016 graduates of Nonprofit Board Training Program

Young Leaders Council, a Nashville-based nonprofit organization that has trained more than 2,500 men and women to effectively participate on the boards of nonprofit agencies for the past 31 years, announces the graduates of YLC/Williamson County Class 2016. The 21 participants, who are all members of the Williamson Chamber, completed 28 hours of leadership training and will now serve one-year internships on local nonprofit boards: Kathryn Bailey (Audiodeluxe), Sydney Ball (First Citizens National Bank), Abby Bass (Williamson, Inc), Lyndi Berrones (NAI Nashville), Macon Borne (FirstBank Mortgage), Brian Brate (North Highland), Hunter Clark (Teklinks), Joey Croom (Elliott Davis Decosimo), Barry Deans (First Tennessee Bank), Rob DeLucas (Peachtree Planning of TN), Michelle Holland (Stone, Rudolph & Henry, PLC), Gaines Kergosien (UBS), Rachel Layton (A Marshall Family Foods), Anne McGraw (Nissan North America), Sara Moreland (Quore Systems), Rebecca Ozols (Williamson, Inc.), Lauren Painter (Lee Company), Senton Pojani (Aon), Jason Price (Elliott Davis Decosimo), Abby Rorex (Williamson, Inc.) and Philip Shepard (Hoar Construction).
Through a partnership with Williamson, Inc. Young Professionals, a apart of the Williamson Chamber, Young Leaders Council expanded into Williamson County for the fourth consecutive year due to the growing need for preparing young business professionals to effectively participate on the boards of nonprofit organizations closer to where they live and work. In addition to the Williamson County class, more than 13o graduates enter the nonprofit community each year from three other Young Leaders Council classes, including two in Davidson County, and one in partnership with Junior League of Nashville.
Since 1985, Young Leaders Council has been the premier organization for training nonprofit board members in the Nashvile area and was created to address the need to broaden and strengthen Nashville’s volunteer leadership base by training diverse and committed individuals to effectively participate on the boards of nonprofit organizations.
