Raptor Classic celebrates 10 years, $150K of support

Ravenwood High School’s Athletic Club host 10th annual Raptor Classic

Ravenwood High School’s Athletic Club gears up for their 10th annual Raptor Classic slated for November 4th and the 5th at The Governors Club.

A collaborative effort of the Ravenwood Athletic Club (RAC) booster organization, the Raptor Classic has raised more than $150,000 over the last 10 years. Funds provide assistance to it’s Booster Clubs with projects and capital expenditures not covered by District funds and sports dues. Last year’s revenue provided 2018 partnership funding for an athletic weight room renovation, baseball and softball digital scoreboard replacement, LAX, soccer tennis and softball field maintenance as well as upgrades to the athletic trainer equipment. This year’s 2-day event includes golf outing, on-line auction, dinner, silent and live auction.
